The "Seolmeori Cold Raw Fish Soup Village" has been transformed into a special tourist zone. The project's branding uses a storytelling strategy, with the logo a variation on a letter resemble a fish head. The simple design is strong and memorable. It became the town of Pohang's distinctive emblem, also boosting the soup's brand prestige. In 2016, the soup was named the best street food and tourism specialty by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. The logomark is quite versatile. The guide map app is easy to understand, and uses images of nature to convey harmony. The entrance signboard symbolizes a wave. The village's makeover has sparked urban renewal that benefits local residents.
