In 2018, coal mining in Germany came to an end. On this occasion, an exhibition in the coal mixing plant at Zeche Zollverein was presented. In the architecturally impressive building, visitors follow the original flow of coal and experience the significance of this raw material for our world through strong thematic images and sensually staged object arrangements. White glazed furniture contrasts with the raw material of the industrial building. The precise and easily readable structures merge with the building while still retaining a high degree of independence. A clear graphic language supports the dramaturgy and enables orientation.
