Presented as a photographic essay the diploma thesis covers a photographic approach on the Elite-College and the campus life, the town of Hanover and the residents from a quite distant point of view. The result reveals a selection of the most significant spots and scenes. The place, the everyday-life and the people are portrayed in a way, they would like to see or present themselves. This illusion of self-determined superficiality is the basis to achieve a far more precise image of the local society. Calm and balanced composed pictures in the first place invite the spectator to discover particular astonishing subjects at a second glance.
