sensIQ / Infrared motion sensor

Discipline: Product

Discipline: Product

“sensIQ” from STEINEL is a reference-class infrared motion sensor. It’s a fine example of form derived from function. Picking out the sensor’s individual components, the design combines a ceiling and wall mounting capability: an innovative turning mechanism (turns through 180° over an angle of 45°) quickly transforms a wall sensor into a ceiling sensor.
The sensor provides intuitive user guidance as well as clearly defined scales for adjusting reach, twilight threshold and light “ON” time. It stays perfectly positioned on the building wall or on the ceiling, looks great wherever it is fitted and always permits precision adjustment of detection reach within its sensing range. A compact and elegant corner wall mount is used for installing the sensor on building corners.
