In the last 3 years, the youth-led NGO Climate Tracker has created a network of 7000+ environmental journalists in over 150 countries. Using an app specifically designed to support journalists in their reporting on environmental and climate change issues, they have offered online trainings, in-person workshops and journalism fellowships to over 7000 young journalists, mainly in the Global South. Their 2017 Global Journalism Program lead to the publication of over 2500 news articles in mainstream media around the world.
The organisation believes that, with the right support, any young person can become a powerful voice for climate change.
