Wind Turbine For The Poor / Clean energy for poor people

Many poor people in Vietnam have no access or limited access to electricity from national grid. In particular, the project was originated from limited access to electricity for the poor people living along Red river in Hanoi.They are unable to afford basic electrical need. The 1516 Green Design developed and installed pilot Small-scale Wind Turbine System for the Red river poor residents in 2016. The system consists of: wind blades, turbines, steel pole, energy panel, control system, storage batteries. Wind blades are plastic buckets. Turbines are old motor in broken printers. Generated electricity provides lighting for poor households.
