Kiron Open Higher Education / Digital Access to Education for Refugees

Kiron Open Higher Education is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enable access to higher education and successful learning for refugees through digital solutions. Kiron offers free of charge, tailor-made curricula clustering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from our external partners so that refugees can start studying regardless of their asylum status. The MOOCs are combined with online and offline support to guide the students in achieving their academic goals. Students can transfer to regular university degree programs with the option of having their online credits recognized to earn a regular bachelor’s degree.
