Malgu Baobab Production / Advocating and training

Our project focuses on working with women group in rural communities in the Upper East region of Ghana by advocating and training them in the processing of baobab powder, a resource that is internationally sought for yet it is being underutilized by most rural people. This initiative is to help them recognize how useful the baobab can be as a resource and create a job avenue for them during the dry season when they have no work doing on their farms. It is also a way of reducing rural poverty among women especially and giving children their right to education. People living in poverty need to be guided to identify their potentials.
