Itadakimasu / Restaurant designed for foreigners

Itadakimasu
Itadakimasu

Visitors from all over the world are attracted to Japan by delicacy. However, foreigners often offend Japanese dining etiquette by accident.
During the Olympic Games 2020, Tokyo will receive lots of foreigners. Itadakimasu (pronunciation of Japanese “Let’s eat!”) is a dining hall designed for the foreigners. It strikes a balance between traditional Japanese restaurant and modern lifestyle. With the transformable ground (seat) and the electronic dining table, Itadakimasu helps the visitors adapt themselves to the Japanese dining customs more easily and better understand Japanese food culture which shows great respect and thankfulness to food.
