According to Hip Hop philosophy, it’s not what you wear, but what you make of it. This “Remix Attitude”, which is a fixed element of the Missy Elliott Collection, serves as the base for the packaging idea. The envelope of the lookbook is at the same time a fashion accessory which consists of two leatherpads linked by fatlaces. Each can be worn as a wristlet around your forearm with the RESPECT M.E. logo embossed on it.
The compact format – similar to a CD box – the lookbook appears in, refers to music just like the pictural presentation of the outfits, which on the one hand shows dancing motion sequences merged into one motive, and on the other hand striking product shots on the fold-outs.
