The drone in this "portable key ring with distress signal" is equipped with a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB), which is also called a "personal positioning transmitter". It is a portable personal wireless communication device, which sends continuous signals at 406MHz in the air above the positioning location as distress signals. It allows the rescuers to easily and quickly track and locate the target for a rescue mission.
