The novel design, the unmanned aircraft or UAV (Model: Bookworm), aims to solve the most annoying work for librarians in the library: inventory checking. The UAV is characterized by its infrared-barcode scanning on books, analyzing the condition in which whether all books on shelf are positioned at the correct location, checking the condition such as 1. put up at the wrong site; 2. in use in the library; 3. in circulation; 4. missing; 5. barcode damaged, and returning all real-time information to the database of the central library for better management of the librarian.
