Together Bright / Lighting concept for loneliness

Together Bright
Together Bright

Together Bright enables two friends or lovers in two distant places to share how they feel, in a subtle yet meaningful manner. Each user can express how he/she feels by changing the brightness of the other’s lamp through Wi-Fi. This aims to stimulate live responses and counter the current plague of loneliness and depression impacting people around the world. The concept is inspired by Chinese poet Shu Ting’s “To the Oak”: true relationships are like two oaks. Though above ground they may seem apart, their roots are forever entwined. Recycled plastic bags create the structure of the lamps. True love/friendships are eternal- and so is plastic.
