In the event of an earthquake, communication facilities in the area would be seriously damaged, and people would not be able to be in contact with the outside world in a timely manner, which would cause great inconvenience to the rescue efforts. The concept was designed to use unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) technology to build a temporary emergency network quickly that could be used to promote safe and efficient rescue operations before the communication system was repaired in the earthquake zone.
