Chinese cities are facing harsh environmental problems, but land for greening is scarce and expensive. Urb-ALEVOLI aims to afforest the city vertically, by creating drone cluster to 3Dprint forests high around constructions. Through the drones' seamless physical connection and diversified functional modules, a greening facility simulating the capillary structure is printed with high efficiency. The drones will work from survey and construction to maintenance, to provide cities with fast and flexible vertical greening services, which enables new possibilities for high-altitude landscape, growing architecture and urban microclimate regulation
