These designs are unique from one another in shape, but share a common design language (like the products they contain). Each package is designed to fit its particular target market. The forms are sculptural, black and sexy, instantly setting them apart from other boxes on the retail shelf. The MP3 products inside the boxes are displayed in windows in the packages, so one can clearly see the product they are buying. The products are suspended between the clear front and back shells. A black inner clamshell contains the CD, recharger, manual and ear buds. This inner shell also offers a large area for graphics. All packages can stand up on a shelf, or be hung on a peg. Box widths are narrow so that packing and shelf density can be high (two boxes can now fit where one used to).
