Although BLU-43B Dragontooth has limited ruins, it has a high rate to cause disability. This kind of landmines have a large number and distribute widely --- mainly on the earth surface of hills and plains in Afghanistan. Someone would be hurt by it almost in everyday.
The concept of the drone “ FOCUS ” : By the use of Afghanistan’s scorching weather, the convex lens with screw threads will produce a focal point which can easily melt the plastic shell of BLU-43B Dragontooth and then detonate the explosives. This way is more efficient, environmental friendly and safer than manual mine clearance.
