Tokyo is Japan’s largest domestic hub for transportation, which is dominated by an extensive network of trains and subways. Our design is to make a flexible coach space which can be moved, separated and united.
According to different needs, the space can be functioned effectively in different ways. When numbers of trams gathered, it can function as visitor centres and offer diverse and large space for users. After the Olympic event, the blossom trams can be quickly transported by rail system to where they can be used again. When natural disaster happens, the flexible and diverse space can be reused for shelters and emergency response centre.
