Ello / Haptic home lighting concept

Ello
Ello

Have you ever appreciated how your shoe fits more comfortably when wearing it more often? Digital products have a different way of shaping after our use. They can constantly adapt to our preferences, but they only show this visually.

What if we could materialize these traces and let our digital products age in a beautiful and personal way?

Ello aims to become a unique light object for each individual. By slowly creating haptic traces based on your preferred light setting(s), Ello lets you touch your light. The traces feel as little dents and can emerge and fade away, turning physical wear and tare into a dynamic and reversible phenomenon.
