The worlds first cogeneration system for domestic fuel cells that simultaneously generates electricity and hot water from city gas. The Matsushita Group has launched full-scale efforts to develop this system, and a gas company has commercialized it. Hydrogen is extracted from the fuel and then transformed into energy through a series of electrical changes. This system reduces emissions of NOX and CO2. The system is attractive as a source of recyclable energy that can create new values in daily life as well as clean energy generation. The system comes with a universal remote control, and its user-friendly navigation modes include voice, text, and motion.
