Aging-related mobility problems are faced by increasing number of elderly, many of whom are frail, of low income, and live alone or with other elderly.
Existing wheelchairs do not meet their unique needs. Manual wheelchair with push rim are suited for users with strong upper body. Manual wheelchair without push rim require an able body helper to push around. Motorised wheelchairs come with many varieties, making them too long and too expensive to repair.
Our solution is a standard module to power manual wheelchairs, thereby removing variation, speeding up repairs, and reducing cost.
