The Children’s Observatory (Observatório da Criança e do Adolescente, as known in portuguese) is a project initiated by Fundação Abrinq to collect and organize data and create indicators and reports on children’s rights major axis: right to protection, right to health and right to education. Besides this data, the project monitors more than a thousand law projects which can broaden or narrow youth rights. The project became a platform or "data observatory" to help civil society understand and monitor children and teenagers life quality.
