Seniorennetz Berlin / Local Community Network

Seniorennetz.Berlin combines digital and local networking approaches to support senior citizens in using digital services while strengthening their social connections. In a series of workshops with the group »Cyber Seniors« we developed an easy to use web-platform to collect, categorise, map, share, print and present local offers that are relevant for senior residents. The existing »Infothek« was extended by an ergonomically designed access point to demonstrate, explain and make use of the web-platform. Digital information is made accessible for people without internet access while promoting internet use, local networking and self engagement.
