Wings for Aid / Unmanned aerial vehicle

Wings for Aid

The last stretch between aid supplies and people in need can now be covered. Wings for Aid and VanBerlo, together with NGO’s and universities developed reliable and cost effective drones. The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) smartly combine autonomous flight and remote control - solving the logistical, economical and legal puzzle.
Each fixed-wing UAV can save over 200 lives on one trip and drops cargo in otherwise unreachable crisis locations. By combining aircraft and mass production techniques costs stay low and fit the “humanitarian economy”. Defense departments and the Red Cross are involved on the highest level to make the UAVs a success.
