The BMC Pro Machine — the world’s first bike with a frame manufactured entirely using Easton CNT Nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology represents a revolution in scientific development and production.

Easton CNT Nanotechnology (the ‘CNT’ stands for carbon nanotubes) is an array of microscopic, tubular carbon nanomolecules that produces a fiber much stronger than all previous carbon materials. The strength-to-weight ratio is hundreds of times greater than aluminum, and several times higher than conventional carbon fiber. BMC is the world’s first frame maker to employ Easton CNT nanotechnology for the entire bike frame.

Currently the Phonak Cycling Team riders are participating in the Tour de France. This model will go into mass production and be brought to market in 2006.
