N ÜBER C is a collection of hand-made, cork leather accessories. The name is derived from the flag sequence for one of the most often used maritime distress signals: N over C. Flag sequences provide a visual leitmotif for all design elements – and also serve as a reminder of the company’s support for charity. Like the distinctive logo, the patterns that appear on the products are also derived from maritime flag sequences, which also appear on all of the company’s communication media. 100% of sales profits are donated to an organization dedicated to rescuing refugees who are in distress at sea.
