Bamddak is a popular restaurant that serves grilled chicken on iron plates. The word Bamddak literally means "a chicken crying all night long" but figuratively means "staying up all night". Here, people share their life histories while roasting chicken at Bamddak. The designers came up with words ‘Carving a talk’ from customers' behavior, and subsequently a word, ‘Type'. The shape of the logo was based on an old Korean typeface that has similar shape to an iron plate used for grilling meat.
