The Bugaboo studio has developed a modern reinterpretation of the sarang-bang, the study or reception room of a traditional Korean house. The warmth of this sarang-bang is expressed by an abundance of natural light and numerous playful details. Sotdae, an old Korean symbol denoting blessing and happiness, is also incorporates as an interior object. With this interior, Bugaboo continue their work of reinterpreting traditional Korean furniture and interior design for the modern age and into the future.
