Comics teaching culture / Cultural Education

Comics teaching culture
Comics teaching culture

The aim of this project is to prevent cultural loss by using comic books as a method to spread culture. Comics have always been an important way of communication. Even the US government used it as propaganda efforts throughout World War II. So, why not use it to teach historical and cultural heritage?
The project started with the production of a graphic novel inspired by Brazilians indigenous tales in order to rescue this forgotten culture, now new tales are being produced. The idea is still getting proportions in few schools here, but it is something that can be used by any country.
