EMPTY / Exterior lighting fixture

EMPTY is an exterior lighting fixture designed by Josep Lluís Xuclà for dab in 2004. EMPTY I is the first of a group of many sizes; it has a metallic structure with either a rust, silver or wood finish. Breaking away from the formal conventions of exterior lightings, this piece is more than just a lighting fixture; it is a multi-functional sculpture as it can also be used as a small seat to rest on, or serve as small tables when arranged in a group; EMPTY lighting fixtures always supply a very pleasing light that can be filtered through different colours to create personalized environments; moreover, if strategically placed, they can function as way markers. EMPTY is designed for natural environments and its rust finish blends perfectly into any exterior.
