This promotion packaging was inspired by the acorn, the metaphorical seed of the company's commitment to the future, combines two Portuguese icons – Port wine and cork. The numbers inscribed on the wood and cork commemorate the year the company was founded ('98) and the 89 awards received in 2016. The base, which holds the acorn, was produced entirely from wood and natural cork, without any recourse to petrochemical derivatives. This promotion comes with the challenge to reuse the packaging and to plant the acorn, thus practically contributing to the conservation of cork oak forests.
