A thousand pieces of thin blue film are installed on the underside of a metal canopy to visualize both waves and a gentle sea breeze. “Blue Wind” started out with the desire to tell the story of an old fishing vessel. As we feel an invisible breeze and imagine its journey from the distant sea to the park, the thousands of pieces of film begin to tell a story. The designers decided to create this story-provoking installation in a public park next to a river as a way of stimulating flights – or voyages – of the imagination.
