AEDs are frequently stored indoors, where few people know the actual location. When someone is in need of an AED, precious time is often loss in searching for the systems. Aside from have trouble locating AEDs, users are often intimidated by the operating instructions.ROAD-AED is a new type of roadside AED; located on traffic light signal poles at intersections, the systems are easily accessible by all pedestrians, eliminating the need to waste time searching for an AED. Furthermore, we have integrated a communications system to the nearest hospital, allowing users to be guided by nurses to ease the unfamiliarity and intimidation of using AED
