Beyond a Pavilion / Street Furniture

Beyond a Pavilion

Pavilion is the fundamental street furniture in a park and usually become temporary bedrooms for homeless. While in daytime, people might have unfriendly contact with the stayings. We design a pavilion with hexagonal shape for covers to separate. Homeless could take their rest under the covering structures in some parts and the rest part of the pavilion is still available for other visitors. The roof of the pavilion is designed to collect rain and work as a distiller for providing clean water for washing hands and body. The bottom is equipped with lights for minimum impact for creatures living in the park. It's a pavilion beyond a pavilion.
