Life under bridge / project

Life under bridge

How to use the spare space under bridge to form a different life style? These spaces were usually used to be parking lots and we would like to make them residential environments. With the involving with concept from hanging bats, the homonyms of blessing in Chinese, we create a micro space in mid-air with the image of arrived blessing. The 4 meters square rooms hanged under a viaduct, turning around slightly while breezed and change scenes outside windows as well as sunlights. The hanged rooms contain transparent floors and provide different spatial feelings from ordinary ones for residents inside to retain the experience of floating.
