Tira Teima Net is a wireless price checker developed to assist department store and supermarket customers in large environments where sales are conducted on a self-service basis, without the presence of a salesman at the time of product selection. When distributed throughout a store, the price checkers allow the customer to access product information, such as price and features. Information about the product is shown on the display after the product's bar code, printed on the package, is passed near the reader.
