The existing smart locks are hard to use. People have to recite different security codes, carry a bunch of chip cards or use bluetooth on their phones. The concept of Chroma lock is to use colors as an identification method. The color will be translated into security codes to open the doors. People can see the color but will not know the codes behind it. Thus making it safe to use. Several colors can be added to the key to allow users to open more doors. Users can also use a smartphone to control the limits of authority in the key.
