Discipline: Communication

Museum Ulm's communication strategy puts the focus on its educational agenda. Art is understood as a democratic element that is universally accessible to society as a whole. The campaign aims to attract both the seasoned patron as well as a new generation of younger visitors. The distinctive and friendly visual language uses pure, vivid colors, clear shapes and layers, and a striking plain typography. The logo is an abstract letter M emphasizing a modern attitude. The colon which follows announces, promises and forecasts an openness for intellectual discourse.
