fytó / Educational toy

Fytó helps to educate children playfully to value food and waste less. The growing incubator includes an upper section where children can feed their seedlings with food scraps. These are processed into nutritious compost by the busy earthworms. The soil production is made visible in order to make the nourishing cycle comprehensible for the child.

Caring for the plant and checking its health is done with the help of a little sensor, that connects to a digital game. This combines short and long term rewards for the child to keep engaged and learn even more.
