Caliboor Design Studio / Website

www.caliboor.com is the online portfolio of the Munich-based designer Jan Schlösser. The aim was to create a web presence that entertains the user and conveys the relevant content in a fun way. The web page is broken down into five main areas, each fronted by a different figure. Each of these mostly animal characters presents the content of the respective area in a humorous way by means of an interactive Flash movie. The graphics are designed to suggest a cartoon, since this allows for the greatest amount of design freedom with regard to content. Each sector also has its own colour scheme, which facilitates user orientation and imparts a unique mood to each item.
