Green Cane / Products and Applications

Green Cane

In recognizing the dangers and inconveniences of seniors maneuvering in low light environments, a LED lit walking cane ensures better visibility and creates greater caution to surrounding motorists. Transforming mechanical energy from each contact with the ground, electricity is stored in the cane until needed.
Acknowledging seniors’ difficulties in getting up from a seated position, a special handle is also designed into the cane to ease this much repeated motion.

Utilizing energy transformation to achieve sustainability, combining senior living habits with current technology, embodies the designer’s core intent of green design.
