FREEDA / Refridgerator (Product)

FREEDA conception refridgerator is based on the principle of clamps which in the provinces was a popular method for storing agricultural produce under the ground. My purpose was to create such an equipment for storing foods which preserves our produce with the help of its very own ecosystem. The plants living on the top of the fridge signal with their condition whether they need water, which oozes into the pottery walls and is continuously evaporating thus ensuring adequate temperature for our produce. In order to maintain this temperature FREEDA is equipped with drawers. By pulling out the drawers the inner space becomes less ventilated.
