Hearing Grips / Product

Hearing Grips
Hearing Grips

Being alerted by sound is a necessary ability to protect ourselves from dangers that threaten us. So loss of hearing can greatly limit this ability. On the other hand, an important factor that prevents people from cycling is the perils related to that. So the deaf and hard of hearing population are more susceptible to these threats and it is necessary to design a product which enables this group of people to cope with these problems.
The concept of “Hearing Grips” is a bike equipment that can be used instead of the traditional grips. The built in sensor receives extraordinary audio signals then the grips will vibrate to alert the cyclist.
