To enhance the safety of riding a bicycle, we designed a “slider light” that allows sliding bilaterally. When riding a bicycle, the “slider light” is linked to a smart watch so that the watch can detect the rider’s hand gestures for controlling the “slider light” in real time after the “slider light” app has been activated. This allows the “slider light” to slide bilaterally according to the waving hand so as to generate apparent directional warning lights. This allows the vehicle coming behind to clearly determine the direction that a bicycle rider intends to turn so as to enhance the riding safety for bicycle riders.
