The cellar vaults under downtown Wiesbaden were renovated in the style of Pariss famous Les Halles to house a diversity of delicatessen outlets and now the Marktkeller, as it is known, has a new public face. Fuenfwerken Design was commissioned to devise a new brand image for the Marktkeller. The goal: to enhance the appeal of the interior and launch a high-image corporate design, both intended to reposition the cellars with clients and potential new tenants. An exciting counterpoint has been created for the historical cellars, hinging on visually striking room dividers, and a signage system based on catching color coding for the individual vendors. The name SU | Marktkeller derives from the French term Souterrain (abbreviated to SU). Alongside the new logo and the website, Fuenfwerken also created a poster and ad campaign as well as other print media.
