This autism empathy kit sends a message that people who have autism are just like us – only that they see, hear and speak in quite unique ways. Using just three simple tools and a mobile app, users can experience these unique senses themselves and get an insight into how people with autism perceive the world. The project was started by in a hope that everyone could see my younger brother with autism just as himself, rather than as an autistic person. I believe social understanding is critical in improving the quality of life of people with autism. This kit can build an empathy bridge allowing you to really empathize with people with autism.
