Each year, 128.000 people are hospitalised and 3.000 die of foodborne diseases in the US alone. This is commonly caused by poorly cleaned kitchen equipment. Restaurants use hazardous chlorine based chemicals to clean their equipment. LikeNEW is a electrolysed-water based sanitiser to sanitise knives, cutting boards and other tableware to prevent cross contamination and foodborne diseases by using environmentally safe Neutral Electrolysed Water (NEW), formed through electrolysis of water and salt. LikeNEW uses nozzles that evaporise the NEW to an all-covering layer of water droplets instead of submerging it in a bath of chemicals and water.
