In December 2004 the O2 mobile phone service provider opened its first German flagship store in downtown Munich. Heart of the O2 flagship store is the 18 meter long interactive multimedia strip created by ART+COM. The interactive surface leads customers to a whole new shopping experience and attracts them to the world of O2 mobile phone services.
Along the entire multimedia strip the visitors are able to call up detailed information on mobile phone services, products and offers. The strip winds its way through the shop on various levels. By the sensitive surface tabletops and walkable floor projections the visitors interact with the season by season ever changing content displayed. The project has been realised in cooperation with Dan Pearlman (lead agency shop-design).
