Harman Kardon's new DPR2005 Digital Path Receiver is a 7.1 channel audio/video receiver that redefines traditional analog receiver design. It utilizes 7-channel x 120 watt digital amplifier technology to achieve a new benchmark in home theater performance. The receiver's advanced performance and functionality are matched by its minimalist industrial design. The DPR2005 features a gloss-black upper panel with an aluminum volume ring surrounded in a blue illuminated light. The curved aluminum drop-down lower panel conceals all but the most-used controls while the blue dot-matrix display can be dimmed or turned off to minimize any distractions from the purity of the home entertainment experience. The DPR2005's design and simplified user-interface are a welcome solution to the complexity facing today's technology consumer.
