The Nokori bench begins with the idea of a pair of chopsticks resting on chopstick holder. If even chopsticks get to rest, what more human beings? In the hectic lifestyle of the 21st century, the Nokori bench serves as a reminder for people to rest.
Focusing on the concept of disposable chopsticks; when closed, it is for everyone but when opened, it is personal. With alternating position of the legs to allow them to cross when bench is being open. The Nokori bench is made out of two slabs of solid oak wood fitted with wooden legs and industrial felt for users to lie down with maximum comfort.
